1987 Nimble 20 Yawl-Tropical
This boat is an excellent example of the Nimble 20, an elegantly
simple and absolutely beautiful small yacht. It is very stable, fun to
sail and easy to rig and trailer to new sailing grounds. This boat is
rigged for single-handed cruising. It consistently attracts admiration
and positive attention.
Extra gear included:
The boat includes: Tillerpilot, VHF, Electrical/Lighting package
with new anchor light and deck/steaming light combo, New deep cycle
battery, Custom cockpit cushions, Interior cushions, Rudder Pintles
and Gudgeons rebuilt/strengthened in 2005, Bottom painted in 2002 with
high fouling areas repainted in July, 2006, Running rigging replaced
in 2001, Standing rigging replaced in 2002, Lines led to cockpit,
Sheet winches replaced in 2006, Wood cockpit grate, Porta potty, Origo
single burner stove, Singlehand mast raising system, Bulkhead compass,
Bruce anchor with deck-mounted anchoring system, Nicro solar vent,
galvanized trailer with new springs, fasteners and tire in July, 2006,

Interior: Counter tops replaced, Sink and water tank added,
Bronze sink fixture, interior hull sides replaced
Exterior: Mast raising tabernacle added, hull painted with Imron
(dark green)
New sails in 2003-fully battened main, 150% genoa, mizzen-all in
tanbark.
Bimini, Covers for all sails and winches, grabrail covers,
tiller cover, cabin cover/fly and bimini in Sunbrella Dubonnet Tweed.
New Honda 5 HP engine, May, 2006, less than 10 hours use
General condition and any additional information:
The boat and all equipment are in excellent condition. The boat
is ready to cruise and enjoy.
