Weight = 575lbs.
The sailboat has been restored extensively. It has all new standing and running rigging (new cordage) and all of the lines have been correctly spliced and whipped. The hull has been cleaned and polished, and the deck and cuddy have been refinished in high gloss white. I have added an auto-bilge in the rear, and have replaced the bow eye and installed an inspection hatch in the cuddy. The hull and deck are both in great shape structurally with no soft spots at all. The mast is split above the cuddy deck to allow for easy trailering. The transom is rated for an outboard motor which greatly helps when launching and retrieving. The sails are not new, but are not blown and should still provide years of good sailing. The main sail has all new battens. The tiller has been repaired and refinished in polyurethane, and a tiller tender has been added to make single handing the boat easier (the boat is intended for two or more people.)
The trailer has working lights with new wiring. The wheels and tires are new, and the bearings have been replaced and regressed recently. The trailer comes with a spare tire, wheeled trailer jack, 1 7/8" hitch, and a recently serviced winch.
The boat and trailer are both registered and titled correctly.
If you're looking for a simple, dependable daysailer, this boat is perfect. She is a great and stable cruiser that is easy to manage on the water and a great place to learn. It has a built in ice chest, and the cuddy is great for stowing gear on quick trips. I'll also throw in an anchor, paddle, cup holder, dock bumpers, and spinnaker. I also have a great maintenance manual.
Hi David,
Just wanted to let you know that the O'Day has sold. You can take it off of your for sale section. The final price was actually $1800. It seems I under valued it a bit. In the end, the final buyer located my boat through Sailing Texas. So your service has been invaluable to me. Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Asa
