8 foot long cockpit! We've sailed 4 adults and 2 kids comfortably.
This is a fun boat to sail. Great to learn on and just fun for taking out the family for an evening sail. Hull is stable and sure-footed. Helm is responsive and gentle. Will ghost along on the slightest zephyr, but will really scoot in a good breeze. Low freeboard means close to the water fun. But it's a pretty dry boat. Self-draining cockpit. Easy to beach with its shallow draft (centerboard up) and kick-up rudder. Easy to single hand.
New rigging and new blocks (see pics). Mainsail and jib, both in good shape. Mainsail has a couple of patches.
Comes with unregistered trailer, but everything works well on it. New winch, new bow roller, new wiring.
Didn't come to me with a title, so needs to be titled to be registered.
Hey David,
Well, I sold the boat this morning for asking price. That was quick. I guess I put a good price on it. I thought it was at the top of the range, but I had about three people ready to give me that price and sold it to a young fellow just learning to sail. It will make a great boat for him.
Thanks for your site. Great results!
