1976 Oday Javelin 14
The sailboat was in great shape when I got her, but I have done a lot of upgrading and finishing work.
Hull has been compounded and waxed. It looks brand new!
Original main (w/battens), and jib. Great condition.
New running rigging.
Good standing rigging with stay covers and spreader boots.
Mast has tabernacle hinged stepping.
The mast and boom have been compounded and polished.
Enlarged cuddy opening and new cuddy deck.
Full flotation.
Spar-varnished tiller with extension.
New anchor, chain and line.
Swing keel (metal, wire brushed and painted), and swing rudder.
Self-bailing cockpit.
New spar-varnished scissors crutch, trailer crutch, and motor mount.
New name plate: Wind Dancer
New tie down strap. Trailer is completely redone with Rust-Oleum paint and new lights.
Two new tires and a spare.
A new jack-stand has been added.
The O'Day Javelin is a beautiful, comfortable and very fast boat----she has a planning hull.
She sails easily with one person and will accommodate four.
She has classic lines and is one of the finest boats you will ever sail.
Hi David:
It is a real pleasure to do business with a pro!!!!!!
I (rather you), sold my 14’ O'Day Javelin in two weeks and for the price I was asking. The buyer has the sailboat and I have the cash. I wish all things in life was that easy.
God bless,
