This is a very original 1972 Oday Javelin, Hull# 3212, Class# 2499.
Excellent beginner sailboat. It is no longer in production, but over
5000 were made from 60s to mid 80s.
Original gel-coat hull has some small epoxy patches on the transom and
the jib has a dacron sail-tape patch towards the top. Interior floor
has a crack which will need attention some day, but is ok to walk on
still. This is the "newer" model javelin with fiberglass seats,
storage/cooler built into the port side seat, small cuddy door for dry
storage in bow of boat.
Good boat at good price with all paperwork for easy transfer.
