1981 Olson 30, Great Salt Lake, Utah, asking $15,000, Sold

This is Longshot, an Olson 30, built in 1981, hull number 89.
I have owned Longshot since 1988 and have sailed her in the Great Salt Lake almost exclusively.
I recently purchased an Ultimate 20, and because I don't need two boats, Longshot is now for sale
I have made many improvements over the years, most recently, changing the deck layout to the "new" version (primary winches on the cabin top, hatch launch spinnaker, halyard controls on the mast, etc). I still have the parts that I removed, so that the original layout may be restored.
The hull was painted with two-part polyurethane in 1996, and is still in very good shape. The bottom has Baltoplate bottom paint on it and is quite fair, although I have done no special fairing.
The motor is a 4HP Mercury 2-stroke. It's old, but it works.
I had the trailer rebuilt in 2000 converting it to a double axle trailer. Also - new wheels, hubs, rims, tires, surge brakes, lights and coupler (2" ball). It's new from the waist down.
Longshot has a very impressive racing record on the Great Salt Lake.
