The Ontario 32 is the type of cruiser that provides more flexibility than your average sailboat. These boats combine extremely solid construction with speed and comfort, resulting in a go anywhere boat that sails throughout the Great Lakes, the Caribbean, and even across the Atlantic.
This particular model was originally owned by a machinist on Lake Erie who made a tough boat even tougher. Take a look at the traveler - it's custom made solid stainless steel. Throttle, choke, and gear shift all have custom solid stainless steel handles. There are even a couple of custom made stainless steel fishing rod holders he left behind that easily mount on any winch. When one looks at the brightwork, items such as the beautiful stainless steel Enkes winches, and the custom fittings, it's easy to tell that a great deal of love was put into this boat. The second owner did not have the boat long but was just as meticulous with upkeep and maintenance. As a result, everything on this boat is simple, solid, and works. As a small engine mechanic, the second owner religiously tuned and meticulously maintained the engine, resulting in one of the smoothest running and problem free A4s out there.
I can tell you the interior is extremely well built and pleasing to the eye with white maple woodwork. The previous owner's wife did an excellent job on handmade curtains and cushions throughout the interior. The engine, cabin compartments, and bilge are spotless.
