Steven and Dad have had a blast sailing this light, but stable 16' daysailor for the last few seasons.
It draws just a few inches with the centerboard up and can be beached. The centerboard is about 36" extended and significantly increases performance upwind. The three sails are in good shape and have been laundered, halyard and sheets checked and replaced as necessary. The deck and cockpit are clean and have a few surface cracks and blemishes that you would expect for a boat of this age. The cuddy cabin has good dry storage for your gear and lunch. The hull gel coat is very nice and it has fresh bottom paint. The rudder and tiller are in great shape.
The mast has a crotch arrangement for travel (pictured in navy blue) and is easily raised by one person, but we recommend you have a little help ready to attach the adjustable stays. The boat can be rigged and launched in about 15 minutes including parking the trailor. The Tee Wee trailer has an extended tongue and tows very smoothly and without any impact on the tow vehicle. It has a fresh coat of paint and has been serviced. It splits so you can ease the boat into the water very smoothly. A few new dock and handling lines were added to make it easier to float away from the trailer and control it during boarding. It is ready for your hookup to a 2" ball.
This daysailor is very clean and absolutely ready to go, nothing needed but to hook up to it, stow the gear and back into the water.
A 3hp Evirude with very low hours is available for an additional $400.
David,
I sold her, as you predicted I would, if I followed your format.
Got $949 for her, which was my first reduced price.
The new owner came all the way from Tennessee to NJ!
Thanks so much for your help, the site worked beautifully.
