197? Pacific Cat 18
Built around 1970, I found this Pacific Cat 18 in the back of the yard at the Sailboat Shop in Austin. Last registered in Hawaii, wonder how it made it to Austin.
One of the fastest sailboats around when it was built, it has some advantages over the Hobies. Fiberglass cockpit has a place to put your feet, storage in the rear of the pontoons and cubby holes at the front of the cockpit, and it looks very stiff. Centerboards in both pontoons.
