Also, the engine room was thoroughly cleaned and inspected in Jan 2007 and
has no rust prolems.
Ultrasounding and inspections throughout the boat revealed no rust other
than slight normal surface rust which was easily removed.
This Reinke Super 10 sailboat was designed and built for extended cruising.
It has a proven track record, having sailed the North Sea, Europe, Canary
Islands, Cape Verde Islands, Brazil, Guyana and to Trinidad. She is now
being stored under shrink wrap in Trinidad waiting for her next voyage.
This boat offers spacious accomadations. Starting forward there is a large
vee-berth. Aft to starboard is the head with manual marine toilet, holding
tank, sink, storage and room for a stand-up shower. To port are several
lockers, a hanging locker and storage bins. Next aft is the galley along the
port side and a large raised salon to starboard. The salon is well lit by
large plexiglass ports(windows) allowing unobstucted views outside. The
compact yet functional navigation area is at the outboard section of the
salon. This gives the navigator room for equipment,charts, and views
outside while remaining inside. Next aft is the cockpit with oversized
scuppers. The engine room is under the cockpit. The cockpit floor raises
for easy access. The engine room has standing room, shelves holding five
batteries and storage areas. Aft of the cockpit is a cabin with full sized
bunks port and starboard.
