1979 Rhodes Continental 22
My boat has the older regular mainsail raised by a halyard.
roller furling genoa, I believe 150%. Its really big.
shoal draft as shown on the website, 20 inches with board up to bottom of keel (650lb) and 48" with board down which lowers through the center of the keel.
The rudder can be raised also.
The Rhodes has a flared side, the website gives a great description of its benefits when heeling.
22 feet long
8 foot beam.
Honda 9.9 HP electric start outboard motor about 7 yrs old
Boat has teak rails which were just refinished, a new teak hatch cover also
finished with several coats of Cetol
All halyards, and lines led back to cockpit with rope clutches for easy single handing
Winches were replaced with Andersen 12ST self tailing winches for easier single
Tiller tamer on sanded arnd refinished tiller
I have an extra mainsail, a spinnaker, a pop top cover, all cushions.
The standard main and roller furling Genoa were sent to sail care about 3 years ago, not too much use since then
VHF and AM/FM Cassette in cabin
A bimini is mounted on the boat which covers the cockpit nicely on a hot day,
No trailer. Marina can lift boat out of water onto a trailer or
buyer can move boat to many winter storage locations here and deal with moving
it later. Rhodes will sell the buyer a used trailer.
I sold my Rhodes today locally through the marina where I keep it. Thanks for your help with the ad, I did get several responses although they didn't lead to a sale.
