1982 RL 24 MK VI
On the water and ready to sail. This rare sailboat is in a slip on the northern part of Kentucky Lake. Slip may also be available for around $1200 per year. Very nice, secure facilities with bathhouses, laundry, small shop, wireless Internet, clubhouse and an awesome view. The Kentucky Lake sailing club and most of its members are also in the area. Folks from, Memphis, Evansville, St. Louis and many other places keep sailboats at this marina. It's a relaxing time all around among great people. This is a high performance, competitive boat for racing PHRF 174 in 2006 book, ideal for luxurious day sailing and very comfortable for longer cruising trips, sleeps four.

The RL24 is a remarkable and popular trailer sailer designed in Queensland by Rob Legg. A number of RL24 have also been built in Western Australia. They were also built under license in Minnesota, USA.
This craft offers outstanding performance, easy launching, retrieving and rigging and particularly for the boating family the RL24 has many safety features and is the winner of the Good Design Award. The award features include simplicity of rigging, self-righting and buoyancy, ease of launching, main and forward cockpits, performance and comfort, unique motor well, and maintenance free hand-laid fiberglass construction.
The craft comfortably sleeps four people. Its interiors are open and clear of unnecessary bulkheads making it highly comfortable to provide comfortable living. The mid-ship toilet, galley and icebox areas are convenient and the cabin can be subdivided.
The design and various safety features of the RL24 lead it to win the Good Design Award. The RL24 is easy to sail solo for a beginner and also satisfies the senses of an accomplished sailor. She is loaded with features yet economical to purchase and affordable to own.
