This is your chance to own a classic sailboat. San Juan 23's are known for their good speed and excellent sailing qualities. This is hull number 94, one of the first 100 of this classic boat built. Boat has been out of the water for the past 7 years.

Hull and rigging are in sail ready condition. Interior needs to be redone, but boat can be used "as is" while you gradually refurbish the interior.

Specifications:

Length: 23'

Beam: 8'

Draft: 1' 11" (centerboard up), 4' 9" (centerboard down)

Displacement: 2700 lbs.

Sail Area: 234 square ft.

Hull: Very good condition. Small area of paint rubbed off on starboard side where boat rubbed up against a pier. This can easily be fixed with touchup paint. Bottom paint is in fair condition, but could get you through one more sailing season before needing to be repainted. Cockpit drains have just been replaced.

Interior: Needs to be redone. Fold down table works. All cushions need to be recovered or replaced. Galley sink needs a new water tank and faucet. Other than this, interior only needs a good cleaning to be serviceable.

Rigging: Fair to Good condition.

Sails: Boat comes with 5 sails (2 main, jib, 115% genoa, 155% genoa). Sails are in fair to good condition.

Additional equipment: Boat comes with lifejackets, 2 Danforth anchors, a brand new trailer winch cable (I bought it but haven't installed it yet), and original paperwork.

Motor: Johnson 9.9 hp longshaft outboard.

Trailer: Original trailer, has rust but works fine.
