Cabin Accommodations:
Forward, there is a comfortable V-berth large enough for a 6'4" captain or crew member.
Privacy is afforded from the salon area by means of the bulkhead. An overhead translucent hatch
provides plenty of ventilation to this area as well as light when closed.
Aft of the v-birth you will find a small privacy head with a new port-a-potty for your comfort.
In the main cabin large lounge seating and a drop leaf table provides comfortable lounge room for
adults.
There is plenty of storage below and behind seats and behind the seat back in the salon, smoked
plexiglas windows above long shelves in the main cabin light the seating on both sides.
There are open shelves provide even more storage above the seats and below that hide-a-way
storage for those necessaries.
The overhead hatch in the main cabin provides ventilation and lots of room for the cabin.
To the port side of the dinette is the galley area. The ice box is below the galley counter.
There are two cabinets below in the galley.
Below the companionway step is an enclosed storage with a very large hatchway. I think this was
part of the design for the inboard seen in some of these boats.
There is storage below and behind the countertop, a hand pump pressure water system provides
fresh water for your weekend.
I used a simple electric cooker at the slip but there is room on the cook top for easly access to
a stove from the cabin and cockpit.
Across from the galley, behind the starboard seat in the aft cabin. There is a very large crew
bunk with room for a six footer. This 'coffen birth' is where I put the ready to reach stuff when
I'm sailing but there is a locker under the cockpit and behind the stair is very roomy and makes
excellent storage space for sails.
Access to the water tank, aft cockpit drains and plumbing is remarkable. Even a large guy can get
to the remote items.

NOTES FROM THE OWNER*
Handling:
I can report from my wife who sails with me from time to time that the San Juan is agile and easy
to handle. It moves out in light air and will not leave you setting in the heat in light air.
Performance:
Want to Race? Take a look at the performance of this boat. Tired of seeing the J24's breeze by?
You should look at the PHRF handycap for this boat. You may like the numbers. San Juan holds it's
own with those racing types but still provides a comfortable weekend get away.
Comfort:
Our SAN JUAN has been the weekend retreat, with room for the wife and I on the 3/4 full bed
pulled out in the main cabin we have room through the cabin of this beamy boat. I am 6'2" and can
sleep comfortably in any of the three births, aft, center or v-birth. The boat is Well kept, and
cared for it has excellent equipment and is a perfect get-away at the lake.
Availability:
The boat is in dry storage sitting on it's trailer, ready for transport. Price is FOB
