The boat was pretty neglected when I got it. The deck was beat up and
the interior was very rough. All of this was cosmetic so I decided to start fixing her up. I have repainted the deck with Sterling Linear Polyurethane and I
have done a lot of sanding in the cabin. It still needs a paint job
down below but most of the hard work is done. I have had the boat for six years and have been very happy with it. It is very fast in light air and sails to her PHRF rating well. Raced her a bit and never came in lower than 3rd place
(10 boats in her fleet).
I do have a trailer for it but I would not recommend it for more than
moving the boat around a boatyard.
David,
Just wanted to let you know that I sold the Santana 525. The buyer was from Kansas! Thank you very much! You offer a wonderful service!
