1970 Soling 27
A classic and aggressive daysailer and/or club racer designed by Jan Linge and the Olympic keel boat from 1972 until 2000. With the self tacking jib it can be sailed with a full (3) crew or can easily single handed. This early Plastrand, unlike other manufacturers, has a super solid hull, deck and mast step. This boat has been continuously upgraded throughout its lifetime to maintain its competitive nature. Upgrades include duel port and starboard controls, internalized mast and boom controls, fixed mast spreaders, triangulated shrouds and a barney post. The boat has been dry sailed on a freshwater lake for at least the past 12 years. The included trailer has all lighting, front and rear jacks, excellent tires, new springs, new wheel bearings and a storage box. This Texas registered boat comes "fully found" and ready to go with one set of sails (main, jib and spinnaker), mast mounted compass, life jackets, anchor, bumpers, etc.

Because of the many questions coming from people with varied backgrounds I finally put together a FAQ sheet that I could forward at the drop of a hat to avoid lenghtly and repetitous e-mails/conversations. I simply kept updating it with (almost) each new question. This technique may warrant a recommendation.
