The Star is one of the most prolific keelboats in the world for a reason: it is an incredible boat to sail. Designed in 1911, it has proven to be a classic in every sense. It is the oldest Olympic class. First used in competition in 1932. Supported by a worldwide association the Star as a class is one of the best organized in sailing, with over 7,500 yachts built and 2000-plus actively racing today.

This is arguably the closest you will come to an America's Cup racing yacht without having to spend magabucks!

She is a joy to sail in places where it is plagued with light air sailing conditions!

This boat was completely stripped of ALL rigging 10 years ago. I have some blocks and misc. parts for it.

There is a small hole ( 'bout the size of a dinner plate next to where the mast goes down through the deck.

There are two identical mast, one in excellent cond. and, one of which is slightly ( 3-4 inches ) bent at the last 3-4 feet of mast. There is one boom.

There are 10 sails. 7 go with this boat and have the hull number and Star symbol on them. Their condition range from fair to good. I believe there is one spinnaker, and a few storm sails. 3 go to a Star boat with a different hull number. All 3 are in good condition.

The trailer is in good condition, with one fixed jack in the front and a screw jack in the back.

This boat was neglected for years. I have neither the time nor the know how to get her back in the water.
