The Weekender is a gaff sloop (gaff rig with a self tending jib) designed by Stevenson Projects. The boat has a small cabin and a custom made wooden wheel (that sits behind the helmsman). The boat is beyond pretty - it is drop dead gorgeous!

Lightweight, shallow draft, easy to trailer, even easier to prepare for launch - the ultimate in trailer sailing!

This Weekender was built by a professional woodworker to an incredible level of quality. The boat won Best of Class - Sail at the Door County Classic Boat Show in 2003.

This is a NEW boat. It has been test sailed three times and WOW! did it ever sail well! Stable, fast, dry and head turning!

The wooden spars were painstakingly built using the bird's mouth method to make them both light and incredibly strong.

Hardware is all first rate.

Cushions in the cabin were custom made and are outstanding.

Tanbark sails were profesionally made and have INCREDIBLE details like leathered corners and double stitching.

Trailer is NEW and fits the boat perfectly.

This boat will fit in a standard garage!

For trailering, the mast pivots down with the mainsail still attached. Setup time can be as little as five minutes. All you do is pivot the mast up (a one handed operation and there is no way the mast can sway), attach the forestay (singlehanded becasue the mast is stable when pinned in the upright position) and launch. That's it! Really, really easy.

You will NOT find a prettier or sweeter sailing boat anywhere.

This boat is listed for less than the cost it took to build and includes the trailer and deliver within 300 miles of Chicago. Farther deliveries can be arranged.
