Designed by a Dr. Twichell when he was in his 80s. He had been a sailing enthusiast for many year but had found later in life that he was not as agile as he once was. He did not want to give up sailing, so he designed a boat and had the W. D. Schock Company build it. It is designed for limited movement sailors. It appears to have a small boom for the jib, so I wonder if it is self tacking.
The most noteworthy item Randle saw was the replacment of a tiller with a joy stick in the cock pit. According to W. D. Schock Company's website, there were only 27 built.
