1968 Venture 21
Entire deck stripped, two coats primer, two coats one part polyurethane topside paint. bottom has been repainted long ago, second coat of paint has light chalking, flaked off in places. original gelcoat is intact under second coat.
recent rudder and tiller, guessing 3 or 4 years old, good as new.
All deck fittings rebedded and backing plates installed. New standing rigging and halyards. New mooring cleats. New t-track and genoa lead blocks. Winches repacked. Have blocks for a two-speed main sheet control system, but have not mounted them to deck or boom.
ports were replaced with new clear lexan last year. Boat is dry except for small leak in the port - port; needs the glazing replaced.
jib needs 4 grommets replaced, main needs new headboard. Otherwise all seams have been restitched by hand as needed.
new outboardmotor mount. Transom has been reinforced with extra plywood and fiberglass to carry the outboards weight better.
Interior was sanded and painted with two coats oil-based primer, two coats exterior latex.
no cushions, electronics or lights.
1968 british seagull motor, needs minor work, last ran last year.
Galvanized trailer is probably as old as the boat and has significant rust.
trailer needs carpeting replaced on bunks. The trailer has not been in water since lights were fixed, bearings were repacked and seals were replaced.
current Texas registration on boat, motor and trailer.
