1979 Venture 22
Pop top cabin.
All halyards run aft to cockpit. All lines in good condition. Tiller refinished.
Original main sheet control has been replaced by a boom vang and cockpit traveler.
4 sail inventory: Main, working jib, 150 genoa & spinaker sail. Include spinaker pole and lines. Main sail cover.
Some new lighting above and below (nav & interior) . New fan.
New #27 Marine deep cycle battery.
Sliding galley counter. Cushions in good condition. Single lazerette storage.
Hull has been compounded and waxed. Shines very nice. Has some minor dock rash.
This is a swing keel boat and gets into 12" of water. New keel brake winch.
Its a great first sailboat or for someone to up or downsize. Needs nothing to sail but YOU!
Venture's are reliable, have a great reputation, easy to sail and have plenty of flotation that makes them nearly unsinkable.
4HP Mariner longshaft outboard motor (integral tank) and trailer.
Trailer has all new lights, wiring & plug (flat 4).
I have to complete some minor finishing touches (put tires & fenders on the trailer and some cleaning).

I did sell the boat to a couple here in the great state of Kansas. It is now sailing on Melvern Lake.
Sailing is alive and well here.
