They say 5 people can sleep on this boat (2 in V-berth, 2 in fold-out starboard berth, and 1 on port side bench berth), but they would have to be an extremely cozy group to do so. We have slept 3 adults, but 2 sleep very comfortably in this cabin. Or can put one of the cushions out in the cockpit and enjoy the cool night breeze, as we have done many times.
After major refurbish last season, we intended to sail her two years before moving up to a bigger boat, but need more cabin room now so we can take the grandkids sailing this season, thereby sending the Cheez-Cutter to the sale barn.
The boat rigs quickly, sails smooth and forgiving, and boat/trailer pull nicely behind a small SUV or pickup.
If you need a couple life jackets or anything to get you started in the great sport of sailing w/ this boat, most likely we could get you fixed up there also.
David,
Please mark our Venture 222 as sold. WOW.....only 10 days.
Your site is at least "2 marks ahead of the rest of the competition."
Excellent site.....the others don't even compare.
You made selling our boat easy....just hope it's as easy now to find a bigger one to buy on SailingTexas.com, so we can be back on the water by the end of April for another great sailing season.
Thanks again,
john
