1972 Venture 22
made by MacGregor Yacht Corporation.
In the past few years a number of modifications have been made to the boat and trailer. The bottom paint was stripped, and VC tar and VC-17 applied. Two new halyards with snap shackles were installed, along with a new main sheet cam cleat. The teak guides for the cabin sliding hatch and the companion way cover were replaced with new teak guides. The boat also has a new rudder and tiller. The trailer tires were replaced, along with the trailer bunks. The trailer was also repainted. The hull is in good shape. The deck will need some fiberglass repair in the near future.

I am pleased to announce that we sold the boat in ad code Venture 22 D. Long story-short, I pretty much got my asking price. I ended up keeping the outboard motor, and reducing the price accordingly. Also, the advice you provided about scams was very helpful. I decided to do a "cash only" deal since it was not a lot of money.
A number of people I have spoke with up here knew about your site, and I also have told a few more people about it.
