These boats are made of injection molded, high-impact marine composite (HIMC) with specially formulated resin that is UV stable. The mold is clamped shut with a force of 5,500 tons on the world's largest injection molding machine in the world. Since 1997 the boats have been sold on every continent (except Antarctica). The boats have been adopted in junior sailing programs and by yacht clubs world-wide.
