I have done extensive repairs and refurbishing. It is completely ready to sail.
The galvanized trailer itself has new lights, current registration, a swivel tongue stand, new wheels/tires, and is in good condition.
The boat has a new lines, new cam cleats, telescoping hiking stick, and a 24' aluminum mast with new insulation blown into both ends.
The repairs I have made are to the bottom surface of the bow on both hulls and to the starboard aft hull where the cross beam connects to the hull. You can see the first repair in the pictures I included, they both involved new fiberglass work and gelcoat. The sails have also been repaired by myself, there are a few patches with sail tape and stitching and a few sections that I actually replaced.
The boat comes with a completely new custom goretex tramp by sunrise yacht products that has yet to be sailed on, I just installed it in November!
The boat also has current registration with TPWD and I think is a superior boat to the hobie 16
It has trapeze lines and comes with a harness.
It is much more stable than the hobies and has quite a bit of flotation so you can bring several people along for a ride if you want.
The pictures don't show any of the stays, trap lines, or running rigging because I keep them in a bag out of the sun, and they install quite quickly. Like I said before this boat is complete and ready to sail, no work needed. Thanks for looking!
