2001 WWP 19
Blue Mer came with nearly every available factory option and upgrade, she is still like new, clean and everything works. The hull is med. blue (mid-watch) with a double pinstripe in white. Deck is off-white looks pale gray. Have the pulpit anchor hanger and the bow roller (includes 3 anchors) 8' of chain and 150' of 3/8" rode store in bow chain locker and are deployed thru a rear facing vinyl vent. I keep an anchor in the cockpit in a bag ready. the third is a spare.
Cockpit rails have foam backrests with blue sunbrella covers, ss swim ladder, 5hp 2stroke Nissan motor like new ( I have always used fuel stabilizer and discarded old fuel). Have the v-berth windows and opening ports with screens for the main cabin. 15 gal fresh water system, propane cook unit and portapottie never used. 2 marine batteries mounted in trays with a Guest battery selector/switch. Fabric covered cushoins. q-berths have opening ports with screens also storage compartment at stern. Sails are crinklie and stiff- 1 std. jib in solid blue, 1 lapper in white both for the CDI furler, white main with jiffy reefing reefing line and outhaul on jam/cam cleats. Boom vang. Factory mast raising system- its easy. Main halyard led to cockpit, as is furling line.
All electrics- running lights, int lights, anchor light, vhf radio, depth/speed,water temp(with 4" analog and digital lighted display) are run thru fuse panel and are switched.
Lifting keel is galvanized and winch works smoothly, have never had water splash or leak thru the keel slot.
Lots of storage inside with several teak louvered doors.
Pacific trailer has a 12" extension on tounge and a tool bucket mounted on the spare tire, buddy bearing caps on the wheels, all lights and plug good.
Boat has been sailed in salt water two times- both had fresh water rinse/flush available.
The Potter 19 is amazing for speed and stability. The two times I sailed in the Gulf I had chance to compare with bigger boats- at n. end of Anclote Key one afternoon returning to Tarpon Springs we sailed a close reach in abt. 8kn. breeze and managed to gain 50 yards on an older Gemini catamaran (he only had main up). Same summer sailing out of harbor at Appalachicola in 19+kn wind with whitecaps and steep chop a 34' morgan followed us out towards pass to open gulf, both boats main only, we kept distance until I decided 3.5.miles later to turn back- the wind was getting stronger.
David, Thanks for listing my boat. I got a call based on an ad on Strictly Sailing (linked from there to your site)
